Independent Medicare Advisors · Lexington, NC
One local advisor who compares every plan we carry, enrolls you at no cost, and picks up the phone every year after. That's Medicare done the Legend way.
What we make simple
Original Medicare leaves gaps. We line up the plans that fill them and explain every one in plain English, so you actually understand what you're signing.
All-in-one plans that often fold in dental, vision, hearing, and drug coverage, frequently for a low or $0 monthly premium.
Predictable costs and the freedom to see any doctor in the country who accepts Medicare, with no networks and no referrals.
We match your exact medication list to the plan with the lowest real-world cost, not just the lowest sticker premium.
Standalone coverage for the everyday care Original Medicare simply doesn't pay for.
Cash-benefit plans that pay you directly to cover deductibles, copays, and the bills insurance leaves behind.
Protect what you've built and turn your savings into steady, dependable retirement income.
Built different, on purpose
Most people get their Medicare from a call center that treats them like a ticket number. We do the opposite.
How it works
In person or over the phone. We learn your doctors, your prescriptions, and your budget, no pressure and no cost.
We put every plan we carry side by side and walk you through the real differences in plain, honest language.
We handle the paperwork, confirm your coverage, and check back every year to make sure it still fits.

The questions we hear most, without the jargon.
Your Initial Enrollment Period runs the three months before, the month of, and the three months after your 65th birthday. After that, the Annual Enrollment Period (October 15 to December 7) lets you change plans each year, and there's a Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment window from January 1 to March 31. We track your dates so you never miss one.
No. Our guidance is completely free. We're paid by the insurance carriers, and your premium is exactly the same whether you enroll on your own or let us do the legwork for you.
Medicare Advantage (Part C) bundles your coverage into one plan, often with a low or $0 premium, and usually uses a network of doctors. A Medicare Supplement (Medigap) pairs with Original Medicare, costs more each month but lets you see any provider nationwide who takes Medicare, with very predictable costs. We help you weigh which one actually fits your life.
It depends on the plan. With a Medicare Supplement you can keep any doctor who accepts Medicare. With a Medicare Advantage plan, we check that your doctors, hospitals, and prescriptions are covered before you ever enroll, no surprises.
Never. Your information stays with Legend and is used only to help you find and manage your coverage. We are not a lead-selling call center.
You may be able to delay parts of Medicare without a penalty, depending on your employer coverage. Give us a call and we'll map out the right timing for your situation so you don't pay for coverage you don't need yet.
